RGDATA Director Padraig Broderick tells the Government’s Retail Forum, chaired by Retail Minister Alan Dillon, that the weekly increase in payroll, additional sick leave costs and additional Bank Holiday were costs that a retail business cannot sustain along with all other cost increases associated with running a store. He called for changes to Employers PRSI, insurance costs and levies and maintaining the sick pay scheme at 5 days.
