The Local Jobs Alliance has written to Finance Minister Michael McGrath seeking the deferral of the planned introduction of onerous new Revenue Enhanced Reporting measures saying SME businesses cannot cope with all the extra costs and regulatory burdens being piled on them by Government. The LJA has called for the deferral of the measure, due to start on January 1 2024, until a proper consultation and impact analysis has been carried out.
