RGDATA Director General Tara Buckley met with senior officials from the Department of Finance to discuss the National Payments Strategy. Buckley stressed that any Access to Cash policy must ensure that Banks are solely responsible for providing customers with access to their cash and that shops that provide ATMs and cashback services must be compensated for providing this service to their communities.
