The Irish Government has confirmed that two parts of the Work Life Balance and Miscellaneous Provisions Act 2023 will come into effect on Monday, 3 July. They are (1) unpaid leave for medical care purposes, and (2) the extension of rights under maternity leave legislation. We look at what impact the announcement is likely to have on Irish employers.
