RGDATA Director General Tara Buckley attended a special sitting of the Retail Forum with Justice Minister Helen McEntee and Retail Minister Emer Higgins. Buckley told the Ministers that Retail Crime was a daily stress for independent retailers and their staff and called for more effective and immediate consequences for shoplifters; more custodial sentences and a faster Garda response to calls about Retail Crime.
