RGDATA has strongly objected to Newspread’s decision to impose a temporary 5.5% fuel surcharge on retailers’ Carriage Service Charge from 4 October. RGDATA has told Newspread that retailers are already facing significant cost increases and cannot be expected to absorb another charge. We have called on Newspread to withdraw the surcharge and has asked for an urgent response.
