RGDATA Director General Tara Buckley followed up on the submission made to the Cost of Business Advisory Forum at the in-person session with a number of interventions on reform of the Defamation law to stop retailers facing claims for asking politely for proof of purchase; some method for retailers facing vexatious cases to be reimbursed on costs and more transparency and competition with regard to legal costs.
